Private Residence – Clearwater Beach

Size: 6,625 sf

Structure:  This residence was uniquely designed to have the new roof, second framed floor and first framed floor bear on the existing load bearing columns, beams and foundations from the previous residence on the site.  Located in a FEMA Zone-V, the existing structure and foundation had to analyzed for the new loads and reinforced where required.  Load-bearing wood framed walls, wood floor trusses and wood roof trusses.

Service: HSI Engineering’s president was the Structural Engineer of Record for this project.  Project designed while employed at former company.
